Concept to Completion – Our Process

We start with an initial consultation to develop your concept design brief and determine what can be built on your site. Our team then conducts a detailed site inspection and measure-up, arranging a contour survey to guide the design. During this stage, we identify any code or site constraints that may affect the project and develop a tailored concept plan for your review and feedback.

After the concept design consultation, our team refines the design to suit your specific requirements. Once approved, we prepare the full set of documentation for your application, including plans with dimensions, setbacks, shadow diagrams, and turning circles.

The supporting documentation required will vary depending on the nature of the proposed development. Our team will identify and advise on the specific reports and certificates necessary, based on the constraints and characteristics of your site. This stage typically involves obtaining specific documentation. Our team work with a range of specialist consultants as needed.

Our team will manage the lodgement of your application with the relevant Council or Certifier. Once submitted, we will keep you informed of any updates and progress throughout the assessment process.

Please note that for larger or more complex developments, the assessment period can be extended. Rest assured, our team will take all reasonable steps to ensure the development progresses as efficiently as possible.

Once the assessment process is complete, Council or Private Certifier will issue the Development Determination to our team. This document outlines the conditions of consent that must be met in the following stages of the development.

Our Team will review the Conditions of Consent listed within your application and compile the next steps prior to construction. We will issue these steps through to you for your review and action.
